Norma Jean - Bayonetwork (Live @ Reggie's) from The Belmont Sessions on Vimeo.

Typical Cats - Thin Red Line

These guys aren't rap superstars to most people, but they dominate my ipod listening these days.

Typical Cats do more than rhyme and make beats, its a worl-wind of classy hip-hop instrumentals underneath lyrics that represent a true sense of poetry in hip hop.

The Juan MacLean + The Belmont Sessions

The Juan MacLean - Happy House (Live @ The Double Door) from The Belmont Sessions on Vimeo.

This was shot a few month ago at The Double Door in Chicago. I have become a huge fan of this over time and it was unfortunate to hear that their drummer, Jerry Fuchs, died last week. This video is dedicated to him and his wonderful performances.
